6:00Wishwash Canyon Nuweiba Jeep Safari from Sharm El Sheikh
Lake Wishwash or Wadi El Wishwash is a secret or “lost” lake, 7 meters deep, which is located in the desert, not far from the city of Nuweiba, in a naturally formed bowl of granite-basalt stone rocks.
The excursion program is designed to visit as many unusual places of the Sinai Peninsula as possible in one day, namely the surroundings of the cities of Dahab and Nuweiba.
Our excursion program to “Wishwash Canyon Nuweiba Jeep Safari” and the Ras Shaitan (Devil’s Head) Nature Park:
– Pick up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel gate around 6:30am (we will let you know the exact time once you book your excursion) and you will travel to Nuweiba City. The journey will be 141 km, which will take up to 2 hours. On the way, you will have a stop in a cafe in Dahab for 10 minutes (drinks, snacks, toilet – for an additional fee). And after a short stop we will continue our journey to Nuweiba.
– Nuweiba
Nuweiba is a picturesque city with sandy and coral coasts, but the main highlight is still the Nuweiba canyons (Red (or Salama Canyon) and White). We will stop to take beautiful photos against the backdrop of the city, its landscapes and the incredibly beautiful lagoon.
– Wishwash Canyon, Wishwash Lake, jeep safari
Next, a fascinating jeep safari awaits you to a lost fresh lake, with unusually beautiful water – green-turquoise, which is hidden between the rocks, in the shape of a bowl. There you can take incredible photos and swim in the lake. The second name of the lake is “Whispering”. In total, the stop will take about 30 minutes.
– Ras Shaitan Nature Park
Ras Shaitan – translated from Arabic as “the head of the Devil”, is a beach, not far from which there are labyrinths of underwater rocks, canyons, caves and plateaus, and it also has a fairly rich flora and fauna, which are mostly puffer fish, octopuses, anemones and rainbow variolas. A very picturesque place. There you can snorkel with our professional guide.
– Snorkeling and lunch
There are Bedouin bungalows on Ras Shaitan beach, where we will stop for lunch after snorkeling.
Dear guests, please note that drinks during lunch are not included in the stated excursion price.
– Dahab city
After lunch we will go to the city of Dahab.
Dahab – translated from Arabic as “gold”, is located 58 km from Nuweiba, and is marked by a special oriental flavor. In addition, there are windsurfing and kite surfing training stations in Dahab. But the main feature of the city is its diving sites. Divers from all over the world come to Dahab to dive at the very famous Blue Hole, and other sites along the city’s coastline. In total there are about 60 diving centers there.
And in this part of the program, we will also touch the atmosphere of this city. A walk along the main street, cafes, shops, souvenir and perfume shops will take you no more than an hour.
After the walk we will take our transfer back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. Expected arrival time is around 18:30.
Round-trip hotel transfers from Sharm El Sheikh are included, with pickup around 6:30 AM and return at approximately 6:30 PM.
Travel through Dahab and Nuweiba, enjoy scenic photo stops, and explore the hidden Wishwash Canyon with a thrilling jeep safari to the famous turquoise freshwater lake, where you can swim and take unforgettable photos.
Visit Ras Shaitan Nature Park, snorkel with a professional guide among colorful marine life, then enjoy lunch at a Bedouin beachfront camp. (Drinks during lunch are not included.)
Finish the day with free time in Dahab, where you can stroll along the promenade, browse local shops, cafés, souvenir stores, and perfume shops before returning to your hotel.
This full-day adventure combines desert landscapes, hidden canyons, snorkeling, Bedouin culture, and coastal sightseeing in one unforgettable Sinai experience.
